Description
This is the official music video for my composition "Sonic," a track I composed and recorded back in 2016. The title might be misleading, as instead of speed and hedgehogs, the visuals explore "Ballroom" – a deep dive into nostalgic, imperfect AI aesthetics.
The Concept: The Art of Imperfection
This music video celebrates the beginnings and the "errors" of the generative AI era. The animations are built from deliberately imperfect, quirky images that were originally left over (or "waste") from earlier production runs using the old Flux Krea Generation Model.
Instead of discarding this deforming, sometimes uncanny aesthetic, i used the Grok 4 Model to animate them into a full music video. The result is a consciously flawed style that resembles a surreal, digital dream state—a true homage to the pioneering era of AI content creation.
