On the border between dream and nightmare
Explosion of memory
- the search for meaning, open questions, no clear plot, but something has happened... The alienated and ambiguous images, the started and frozen movements, the manically repeating image loops, like the thought in search of meaning that gets lost - in its own memories...
An interactive video collage, a “Moviedestructor”, a computer-controlled video installation on the threshold between pleasure and pain.
Inspired by “Bildbeschreibung” by Heiner Müller. The project was created as part of a scholarship at the Konrad Wolf Academy of Film and Television in Potsdam-Babelsberg in 2002.

Presented in December 2002 at the Berlinische Galerie in Berlin.
Exhibited at the “Zacheta” National Gallery of Art in Warsaw (21.05 - 27.06 2004).

Other examples from the project
Video content that changes its intensity, and soundtrack depending on user interaction, or random algorithms. Here is just a fragment of the visualization. (here not interactive). In the original as director application, programmed with lingo.
In the project - mouse movement controls the playback speed and playback direction of the video - which creates a video scratching effect. Soundtrack is also controlled separately with the mouse position.
